About the Role

Our Sanitation Technicians play a critical role in keeping our production facility safe, compliant, and ready for the next shift. This position works between production shifts, ensuring all food and non-food contact surfaces are cleaned and sanitized efficiently within tight turnaround times.

This is a hands-on, physically active role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment and surfaces daily
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure food safety standards are met
  • Follow detailed sanitation schedules and document completion
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies
  • Assist in overall plant and warehouse cleanliness
  • Lift and move hoses, equipment, and chemical containers (20–50 lbs)
  • Work in wet/humid conditions while wearing protective gear
  • Report any food safety, quality, or safety concerns immediately
Requirements: What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Night & overnight shift availability
  • Ability to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (including weekends)
  • Comfortable standing, lifting, crouching, and working in a physical environment
  • Reliable transportation to Erie, PA

Preferred:

  • 1–2 years sanitation experience in food manufacturing
  • Familiarity with USDA, state, and customer sanitation requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured schedules
