RAS has earned a strong reputation for its ingenuity in developing a unique and successful approach to handling its Clients' Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Litigation, Loss Mitigation, Deed-in-Lieu and Evictions needs. The Firm's focus on the attorney-client relationship has afforded the Firm the ability to cultivate a tailored process for each of its diverse clients.
Our firm is seeking a Senior Level Attorney for its high-volume non-litigious foreclosure practice. The position requires client contact and a high-volume workload. License to practice law in California is required. Depending on the candidate's location in California, this position may be hybrid, remote or in office.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the firm’s foreclosure and litigation departments
- Work with and assist in supervision of junior attorneys, paralegals and support staff
- Maintain the highest quality of work-product while helping clients achieve their goals and ensure firm policies and procedures are being followed
- Monitor progress and develop strategies to effectively bring files to resolution
- Develop and grow client relations
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Nice to have but not required: Experience related to creditors’ rights legal representation (real estate, foreclosure, litigation)
- Working knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and their application to foreclosure matters
- Knowledge of Federal and State consumer protection statutes
- California barred for at least 1-3 years
- Exercise a high-degree of professionalism
- Creative problem solving; client development; leadership and motivational skills
- Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written and electronic correspondence
Required Education and Training:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Membership in the California Bar
