In this role, you will lead and scale a high-performing regional sales organization within the engineering software industry, driving revenue growth and long-term customer success. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on coaching to inspire teams, exceed ambitious sales targets, and strengthen key client relationships. Operating in a fast-paced and competitive environment, you will shape territory strategies, forecast performance, and execute initiatives that accelerate market penetration. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions aligned with customer needs. This position offers high visibility, significant influence, and the opportunity to drive meaningful business outcomes. The role is fully remote, based in the Northeast region of the United States.
Accountabilities:
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute territory strategies that drive growth across all product and service lines.
  • Mentor team members on advanced sales methodologies, performance optimization, and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue with accuracy, providing actionable insights for planning.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including training and consulting services, to expand customer value.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Share best practices across regions to enhance overall sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in business, engineering, sales, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales management experience within the engineering software or technology sector.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive territory planning and revenue optimization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of independence, initiative, and adaptability in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
  • Competitive mindset with a strong drive to exceed ambitious goals.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
