Medical Needs of School Population

• Lead and attend Medical Care Plan meetings for appropriate students
• Manage/Document dispensing of all student medications/OTC and prescriptions as applicable
• Manage school-wide health protocols/policies
• Maintain/order medical supplies as needed
• Provide classroom/field trip medical bags in all grade levels as applicable
• Provide medical bags for Retreats/Mission Trips
• Maintain disinfection of health office/equipment/supplies

Emergency Medical Procedures

• Maintain AED/Epi-Pens and provide training to faculty/staff on emergency medical procedures
• Facilitate CPR/First Aid training for faculty and staff

Immunizations/Health Screenings

• Audit/Document and keep up-to-date immunization records for student population according to Texas Department of Health
• Perform health screenings annually as required by Texas Department of Health
• Complete annual reports as required

Communication

• Parent notification for immunization records/screenings
• Parent notification regarding illnesses/medical issues/school health procedures

Other Skills Required

• Mature Christian Walk and Testimony
• Excellent Communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
