About This Position

Description:

The Compliance/Credentialing Specialist ensures we are aligned with Arthrex policies while supporting our sales teams where it matters most. From facility credentialing and HCP spend reporting to annual training coordination, this role combines attention to detail, collaboration, and proactive practices to keep our organization moving forward with confidence.

Great administrative role for someone with a process-driven mindset, ability to create and maintain strong relationships and a willingness to support a fast-paced sales team. This is a full-time, in office role in Richmond, Va.

Essential Responsibilities:

Compliance Program Management

  1. Oversee the organization and maintenance of critical compliance documentation.
  2. Serve as the primary liaison between Arthrex Compliance and Fortis Surgical.
  3. Complete annual certifications to validate the effectiveness of the agency’s compliance program.
  4. Participate in compliance audits.
  5. Conduct annual compliance risk assessments, evaluate program maturity, and identify areas for improvement while ensuring preventive controls are in place.

Training & Culture

  1. Deliver compliance training to new hires and tenured representatives as needed.
  2. Foster a culture of integrity by encouraging open communication; ensure employees feel comfortable reporting potential compliance concerns.

Credentialing & Workforce Support

  1. Ensure all workforce credentialing documentation, vaccination records, and other facility requirements are current.
  2. Provide consistent support to the sales team regarding internal processes, communication, credentialing, and compliance.

Expense & Reporting Oversight

  1. Reconcile monthly sales team expenses and submit accurate HCP spend reports.
  2. Ensure complete and accurate tracking and reporting of payments or transfers of value to HCPs/HCOs in accordance with Arthrex guidelines.
  3. Maintain proper documentation for transactions involving HCPs, including meal receipts and attendee lists.

Investigations & Risk Reporting

  1. Investigate potential policy violations and apply disciplinary actions in alignment with published guidelines.
  2. Report substantiated violations to Arthrex Risk Management and Compliance.
  3. Provide regular updates to agency leadership on compliance activities, risks, and resolutions.

Relationship Management & Operational Support

  1. Build and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team, Arthrex, and external vendors.
  2. Collaborate with the operations team to support physical inventory audits as required.
  3. Contribute to operational goals and key business metrics as defined by leadership.

Work Environment:

This an office-based role and will spend a lot of time sitting and on the phone. The Specialist will be constantly interacting, problem solving, and adapting to the needs of the team, healthcare providers, and the business.

Requirements:

Minimal Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated ability to follow process and meet deadlines
  2. 2+ years of applicable administrative experience
  3. Possess high school diploma or equivalent
  4. Possess keen attention to detail
  5. Ability to handle multiple workflows simultaneously
  6. Demonstrated ability to be trustworthy and discreet; ability to keep sensitive information secure
  7. Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  8. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
  9. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  10. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
  11. Resilience and adaptability in a competitive sales environment
  12. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and smart phone technology

Physical Requirements:

  1. Sitting and Standing for Long Periods: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings
  2. Dexterity & Fine Motor Skills: Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones
  3. Visual acuity: Ability to read and interpret documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens
  4. Lifting & Carrying: Occasional lifting or carrying of files, documents, or office supplies (typically up to 35 pounds)
