Boone Landing Dock Hand at Boone County Fiscal Court – Burlington, Kentucky

Starting at $18-19/ hour

Schedule:

This is a part-time, seasonal summer position. Schedule may vary and may include evening, weekend and holiday work.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Boating Safety, Ability to operate a Golf Cart, Valid Driver's License

• Ability to work varied hours/days, weekends, and holidays, as needed
• Ability to communicate with associates and customers
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job (Power tools)
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily opening and closing job duties.
• Inspect and report on the condition of the boats in storage & rented slips.
• Perform grounds clean up and general property maintenance.
• Provide outstanding, friendly customer service to all customers and guests.
• Clean restrooms, docks, walkways, sidewalks, equipment, and all other areas of the facility.
• Follow all safety and compliance regulations.
• Contribute towards a healthy, safe, clean, and fun work environment.
• Exhibit a proactive, professional, honest, trustworthy, and strong work ethic.
• Assist and support special events or projects that may take place outside of normal operating hours.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as requested.
