This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of a specialized product portfolio, including Microwave Ablation and associated software solutions. You will translate broad business objectives into actionable product plans, guiding market research, competitive analysis, and product development initiatives. This position requires collaboration across R&D, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure market relevance and commercial success. You will influence product strategy through deep customer insights, industry trends, and clinical validation, while potentially expanding into team leadership as the portfolio grows. The role offers the opportunity to shape product innovation, optimize market positioning, and deliver measurable business impact in a dynamic, global environment.
- Lead portfolio strategy and roadmap development, aligning products with market needs, business goals, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform portfolio decisions and product lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, sales, and marketing to drive new product development, concept validation, and enhancements to existing offerings.
- Translate customer insights and clinical feedback into actionable upstream marketing initiatives, ensuring product design is customer-centric.
- Evaluate new market opportunities and develop business cases for product expansion, pricing, and market differentiation strategies.
- Establish strategic partnerships with industry experts, medical societies, and research institutions to support innovation and adoption.
- Drive portfolio performance through financial planning, ROI analysis, and monitoring of KPIs, while presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support operational efficiency and potentially lead a high-performing team as the portfolio expands.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in management or strategic leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in life sciences, engineering, business, or related field.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex product portfolios in healthcare or medical technology markets.
- Expertise in Microwave Ablation and related software solutions, including market dynamics, clinical applications, and competitive landscape.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with a track record of making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing at senior levels.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, portfolio optimization, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HCM or ERP systems preferred.
