As the Engineering Manager for our brand-new Developer Productivity AI team, you will lead a high-agency, cross-continental group of engineers dedicated to automating large swaths of the engineering workflow. This role offers the unique opportunity to redefine how software is built at a global scale by effectively deploying LLM agents and cutting-edge AI tools. Team Leadership & Velocity: Lead and guide a senior, cross-continent team of engineers to move rapidly in deploying and exploiting the latest advancements in AI developer tools.
Product & UX Excellence: Deliver compelling product experiences for internal users, ensuring that AI-driven tools are intuitive, effective, and deeply integrated into the daily engineering lifecycle.
Strategic Direction: Set the product roadmap in an ambiguous and nearly endless solution space, making or coordinating difficult technical decisions and trade-offs to ensure maximum impact.
Data-Driven Acceleration: Dig deep into internal data to analyze how engineers utilize AI tools, seeking out every opportunity for optimization and technical acceleration.
Cross-Functional Influence: Work across the company to redefine engineering standards and foster a healthy, inclusive, and challenging work environment that supports rapid innovation.
Management & Engineering Background: At least 2 years of experience managing high-performing engineering teams, complemented by 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer.
Team Building: A proven track record of successfully recruiting, building, and mentoring great engineering teams in a high-growth environment.
Product Innovation: A repeated history of delivering innovative product experiences for either internal or external technical audiences.
Autonomous Problem Solving: The ability to thrive with high levels of responsibility and autonomy while navigating a rapidly changing technology landscape.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to think rigorously and communicate clearly with leadership, users, and the wider company.
