About This Position
The Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for end-to-end ownership of Viome’s supply chain across Diagnostics and Consumer product lines. This role ensures the company has the right product, at the right time, at the right cost, while delivering a reliable and scalable customer experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building structure, driving operational discipline, and scaling supply chain capabilities in a high-growth environment.
This role owns demand and supply planning, contract manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and fulfillment, ensuring products are delivered on time, at the right cost, and in compliance with FDA and GMP requirements.
This role operates within a regulated environment and is responsible for ensuring supply chain execution aligns with FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/cGMP), and internal quality systems.
Own demand planning, supply planning, and inventory strategy
Implement and manage Solvoyo or similar systems for forecasting and inventory management
Build and run a scalable Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
Use system reporting and data to drive decisions on inventory, supply, and risk
Contract Manufacturing & Vendor Management
Lead relationships with contract manufacturers (CMOs) for supplements, ingestibles, and kits
Own vendor selection, performance management, and pricing/contract negotiations
Ensure suppliers meet cost, quality, and delivery expectations
Drive cost savings and margin improvement through vendor strategy
Regulatory & Compliance (FDA / GMP / cGMP)
Ensure supply chain operations comply with FDA regulations and GMP/cGMP standards
Partner with Quality to support supplier qualification, audits, and compliance processes
Oversee operational elements of CoAs, batch release, and product traceability
Maintain audit readiness across suppliers, manufacturing, and distribution
Inventory, Logistics & Fulfillment
Oversee inventory across raw materials and finished goods
Lead logistics, shipping, and fulfillment operations (including 3PLs)
Ensure high service levels while optimizing inventory and working capital
Team Leadership
Lead and develop the internal supply chain team (Supply Chain Manager and Buyer)
Establish clear roles, accountability, and performance expectations
Balance hands-on execution with building scalable processes
Success Metrics
In-stock rate and service levels
Inventory turns and working capital efficiency
Forecast accuracy
Vendor performance (cost, quality, delivery)
Gross margin improvement
Compliance and audit readiness
10+ years of supply chain leadership experience
Experience managing contract manufacturers (CMOs)
Strong background in vendor negotiation and cost optimization
Experience in FDA-regulated and GMP/cGMP environments (supplements, ingestibles, biotech, or similar)
Experience with supply chain systems (Solvoyo, ERP, or similar) and data-driven planning
Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and logistics
Proven ability to lead teams and scale operations

$170,000 - $200,000 a year
