The Denture Set-Up Technician is responsible for the precise arrangement and positioning of denture teeth in accordance with dentist prescriptions, anatomical guidelines, and esthetic standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of dental anatomy, and the ability to collaborate with dental laboratory teams to produce high-quality removable prosthetics.

A Day as a Denture Set-Up Technician

  • Set up denture teeth (full and partial) according to prescription, bite registration, and articulation requirements
  • Interpret work orders, lab slips, and clinical instructions accurately
  • Establish proper occlusion, alignment, and esthetics in denture setups
  • Perform wax setups and make necessary adjustments for function and appearance
  • Collaborate with lab technicians, dentists, and supervisors to ensure case accuracy
  • Maintain consistency with anatomical landmarks and functional design principles
  • Inspect completed setups for quality, symmetry, and compliance with specifications
  • Modify setups based on feedback or remakes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and lab protocols
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Dental laboratory experience preferred, especially in removable prosthetics
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and denture fabrication techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret dental prescriptions and lab instructions
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Schedule
Full-time position
Monday-Friday
7:00am - 3:30pm
