Job Overview
As a Senior Consultant at ISI, you will serve as a delivery leader and trusted advisor on client engagements.
You will be responsible not only for execution, but for:

Senior Consultants at ISI operate across disciplines - including Business Process Transformation, Organizational Change Management, Product Ownership, and Policy - and are expected to integrate these capabilities into cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
This role requires strong judgment, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining accountability for results.
Job Duties / Essential Functions
- Lead major workstreams or entire engagements, ensuring delivery quality, timeline adherence, and client satisfaction
- Manage and mentor junior consultants, providing coaching, feedback, and day-to-day direction
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders, including senior and executive leadership
- Drive business process transformation initiatives, applying Lean principles to redesign workflows and improve outcomes
- Lead and facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions, and executive presentations
- Translate complex problems into structured approaches and actionable recommendations
- Ensure alignment between process, technology, and organizational change efforts
- Oversee development of client deliverables, ensuring clarity, quality, and executive readiness
- Guide change management strategies, ensuring adoption, readiness, and sustained outcomes
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities, proactively managing issues and driving resolution
- Contribute to internal firm growth, including thought leadership, capability development, and proposal support

Benefits
- Base Salary: $125,000 to $150,000 (based on education and experience)

Requirements:Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record required; graduate degree (MBA, Master's, etc.) preferred
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in consulting, public sector, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex workstreams or engagements
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Experience with Business Process Transformation, Organizational Change Management, or system implementations preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Visio, Jira, or similar tools preferred
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must hold valid auto insurance that meets Illinois minimum state requirements
- Must live within commuting distance of our Springfield, Illinois offices and be willing to work onsite 5 days per week. Relocation assistance may be available
- Must be available to work as needed to honor project commitments, meet deadlines, and support assigned business area needs
- Must be willing and able to travel within the United States based on client and project needs
