CNC Boring Mill Operator (Weekend shift) at Apex Industries – Moncton, New Brunswick

APEX is looking for a skilled CNC Boring Mill Operator to join our Custom Contract Manufacturing team on the weekend shift. This is an opportunity to work with a Toshiba CNC Boring Mill, advanced tooling, and complex custom projects where your experience and attention to detail truly matter.

• Setting up and operating a Toshiba CNC Boring Mill to produce high-precision components

• Working from blueprints and production drawings to tight tolerances

• Using precision measuring tools and hand tools to ensure accuracy and quality

• Managing your workflow to meet production timelines

• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace

• Collaborating with supervisors and team members to deliver high-quality results

• Diploma in CNC/Manual Machining or equivalent hands-on experience

• Experience with boring mills (Toshiba, Fermat, or similar)

• Experience with probing systems (Renishaw preferred)

• Strong understanding of GD&T

• Ability to operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment

• Comfort working in both imperial and metric measurements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• A team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
