This role sits at the intersection of strategic partnerships, performance marketing, and high-growth digital media. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within the Small Business Insurance vertical, building long-term relationships with key media partners and strategic stakeholders. The position requires a strong blend of sales expertise, consultative communication, and data-driven decision-making to drive measurable revenue outcomes. You will operate in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment where success is defined by your ability to source, negotiate, and close high-value partnerships. Working closely with internal product, design, and marketing teams, you will help shape acquisition strategies that directly impact marketplace growth. This is a high-visibility role with significant influence on revenue expansion and partner ecosystem development.
- Identify, prospect, and close new strategic partnerships within the Small Business Insurance ecosystem, driving consistent pipeline and revenue growth
- Engage potential media and business partners through outbound outreach, including email, cold calling, conferences, and industry networking
- Negotiate contract terms and partnership agreements while aligning internal stakeholders on deal structure and business impact
- Present product value propositions and partnership opportunities via phone, video, and formal presentations or pitch materials
- Collaborate with internal design, product, and marketing teams to develop effective B2B acquisition strategies for publishers and small business audiences
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers to foster long-term strategic partnerships
- Track, report, and analyze pipeline performance, identifying growth opportunities and optimizing deal strategy
- Maintain strong product and industry knowledge to effectively communicate value and differentiate offerings in the market
- 6+ years of experience in business development, full-cycle sales, strategic partnerships, or media sales roles
- Strong domain knowledge of the Small Business industry, with understanding of its ecosystem and customer needs
- Proven experience in digital performance marketing, partner acquisition, or marketplace-driven environments
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including VP and C-level executives
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort working with performance metrics, funnels, and data-driven decision-making
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple deals and priorities simultaneously
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and strong pipeline management discipline
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, target-driven environments with evolving priorities
- Base salary range: $105,000 – $140,000 USD annually
