Visiting Nurse Health System (Visiting Nurse) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Home Health team who’s not only a skilled nurse – but also a calm, compassionate, and empathetic presence caring for our patients. We are seeking an individual willing to work Monday through Friday across Ellenwood & Lithonia. This is a non-exempt position. This position is headquartered out of our corporate office at Ravina in Dunwoody, GA.

In this position...

• Provide nursing care, emotional support, patient and family education regarding disease process, self-care techniques, prevention strategies, clinical nursing observations, and documentation for Home Health patients.
• Provides nursing services as ordered by the physician and under the direction of the RN.
• Reports subjective and objective patient findings to the RN.
• Under the direction of the RN, obtains physician’s orders and ensures orders exist for each visit made,
• Provides necessary skills to report changes appropriately; documents pertinent information and care rendered to the patient to ensure continuity of care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of infection control standards and techniques as per VNHS policy and procedures and consistently practices these techniques.

Do you have....

• LPN Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or program
• Completion of an IV training program or certification in IV therapy
• Experienced in advanced wound therapies
• Current license by the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of one - two (1-2) years’ experience in a Medicare-certified home health agency is preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years as an LPN
• Current valid Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
  

Salary Range: $61,634.56-$92,451.84
