Position Summary
Divine Flooring is seeking a driven and ambitious Junior Sales Associate to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity.
This is an entry-level sales role designed for individuals who are eager to build a long-term career in sales and business development. You will work closely with senior sales professionals and leadership to support active projects, develop client relationships, and gain hands-on experience in estimating, site visits, and account management.
This role provides foundational training in sales operations, client communication, and project coordination, with the opportunity to grow into a revenue-generating Sales Representative role over time.
The successful candidate must have access to a reliable vehicle to use for work purposes.
Specific Responsibilities
Sales & Account Support- Assist in maintaining and strengthening relationships with builder, designer, and trade accounts and customers.
- Support senior sales team members with client follow-ups and ongoing project communication.
- Help identify opportunities to add value to existing client accounts.
Estimating & Project Coordination
- Assist with preparing estimates and project documentation, including uploading floorplans and completing takeoffs.
- Participate in site visits and on-site measures to gather information required for accurate quoting.
- Input and manage job data in Divine Tracker, including materials, quantities, work orders, and installer information.
- Coordinate with internal departments to confirm product specifications, job statuses, and material ETA’s.
Client Experience & Communication
- Respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns by gathering information and collaborating on solutions.
- Support the collection of deposits and final payments in accordance with company policy.
- Communicate effectively with installers and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing product training and sales mentorship.
- Develop foundational skills in negotiation, presentation, and account management.

What You’ve Done
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field considered an asset, but not required.
- Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Willingness to learn ERP/CRM systems and industry-specific software.
