What we're looking for:

Essential Job Functions of a Warranty / Maintenance Plumbing Tech:

  • Conduct warranty-related plumbing installations and repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments to identify and resolve issues with installed plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drain systems, fixtures, and water heaters.
  • Repair or replace defective plumbing components and parts under warranty, ensuring proper functionality, water efficiency, and code compliance.
  • Document all work performed, including detailed records of parts used, labor hours, diagnostic findings, and customer interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain warranty coverage, repair processes, findings, and preventive maintenance recommendations.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and other team members to ensure timely completion of warranty-related service calls.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Adhere to all local plumbing codes, safety protocols, and company policies to prevent accidents, property damage, and injuries.
  • Provide professional, high-quality customer service while representing the company in customers’ homes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a plumbing technician, Residential experience, with a focus on warranty-related service work preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Quality-focused plumbing expert with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, or varying weather conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, water heaters (tank and tankless), and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, plumbing schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.


Experience/Education

Residential plumbing installation experience required.

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship program preferred
