Product Manager – ArcGIS Enterprise at ESRI, Inc – Redlands, California
About This Position
Overview
Youll help shape the future of ArcGIS Enterprise by defining how enterprise GIS customers adopt and use AI across cloud, hybrid, onpremises, and disconnected environments. In this role, youll work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and services teams to translate real customer needs into product direction that scales across complex enterprise architectures.
Youll balance deep ArcGIS Enterprise expertise with a strong curiosity for AI, ensuring ArcGIS Enterprise remains a critical pillar of Esris platform strategy. Your work will directly influence how organizations deploy, trust, and operationalize AI within their most missioncritical geospatial systems.
Responsibilities

Gather and prioritize feedback from end users and administrators to inform product strategy, roadmap decisions, and future investments
Define and communicate product direction for ArcGIS Enterprise and its AIrelated capabilities, informed by market trends and competitive analysis
Translate customer problems into clear, actionable requirements and advocate for them across strategy, roadmap, and development discussions
Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, services, and partners to support successful delivery, launch readiness, and adoption
Build and maintain product content such as technical papers, best practices, enablement materials, and internal guidance
Build awareness across Esris global workforce of ArcGIS Enterprise system patterns and its role within the ArcGIS platform and AI ecosystem
Represent ArcGIS Enterprise and AI in customer engagements, partner interactions, and industry events, ensuring consistent product messaging
Requirements

2+ years of experience in a productrelated role (product management, engineering, development, support, or consulting)
Handson experience with ArcGIS Enterprise in a product planning, support, consulting, or deployment context
Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise licensing, including server roles, extensions, and capabilities
Proven ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and drive prioritization across teams
Ability to coordinate people and technical resources across multiple organizations and disciplines
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
Strong problemsolving, organizational, and timemanagement skills
Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer engagements, conferences, and strategic meetings
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, geography/GIS, or a related STEM field
Recommended Qualifications

Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise architecture best practices and common deployment patterns
Working knowledge of standard IT concepts, terminology, and enterprise environments
Experience with cloud and database technologies, including SQL and filebased storage services
Prior experience contributing to a software development, technical consulting, training, or product support team
Certification in product management, project management, or change management (Pragmatic Institute, PMI, or equivalent)
