Wayne Contracting Co. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for a driven construction professional who values autonomy, accountability, and collaboration. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while helping refine systems that support our continued growth - including expansion into federal projects under 8(a) and Disabled Veteran status.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and cost controls to ensure successful delivery.
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Implement scalable systems and processes as the company expands.
Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, and stakeholders.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and progress benchmarks are met.
Identify and proactively resolve project challenges.
Mentor and support team members as the organization grows.
Assist in expansion into federal projects, ensuring compliance and documentation standards.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven experience managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.
Experience with private commercial projects; federal project experience is a plus.
Ability to lead with confidence while maintaining a collaborative team environment.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
$90,000 - $100,000 annually
