Position Description:

Are you a clinically driven leader whos passionate about advancing mental health programs and supporting clinical teams?


Were seeking a Regional Mental Health Coordinator to provide clinical and administrative leadership across our Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) programs. In this role, youll oversee mental health services across multiple facilities, supervise clinicians, coordinate training, and ensure consistent, high-quality care for individuals served. Youll also play a vital role in staff development, compliance, and regional collaboration to strengthen program outcomes.

What Youll Do

Oversee and coordinate all clinical services for mental health staff within the IST program region. Provide direct clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians and guide them in ethical, effective practice. Design, deliver, and update onboarding and ongoing clinical training programs for IST staff. Allocate and manage staff resources to ensure timely, professional, and compliant delivery of mental health services. Collaborate with facility leadership and nursing teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. Conduct staff performance evaluations, provide coaching and disciplinary support, and ensure documentation compliance. Represent mental health services in facility meetings and ensure adherence to healthcare policies and regulations. Travel within the region for training, supervision, and coordination of mental health services; participate in on-call support as needed. Step into leadership coverage as needed to ensure program continuity and clinical effectiveness.

What Were Looking For

Education & Training

Masters degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or related behavioral science field (required) Experience

Proven experience coordinating and administering mental health service delivery systems (required) Knowledge of supervision, psychotherapy, diagnosis, and major mental disorder treatment (preferred) Licenses/Certifications

Current, valid license to practice psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work in the state of employment (required) Meets Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements to provide clinical supervision (required)
