Vessel Analytical Specialist

This role is designed for an experienced engineering professional with strong analytical and technical expertise in vessel-related systems and industrial operations. You will contribute to engineering assessments, evaluations, and technical analysis activities that support operational efficiency, safety, and project execution. The position involves applying established engineering methods while supporting larger and more complex assignments within multidisciplinary environments. You will work closely with engineering teams to analyze data, review technical plans, and contribute to investigations and operational improvements. Accountabilities:
  • Perform engineering evaluations, technical analysis, and assessments related to vessel systems and operational processes.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and methodologies to support project execution and operational activities.
  • Assist in the design and analysis of larger and more complex engineering assignments under established guidelines and standards.
  • Review technical plans, investigations, surveys, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure accurate analysis, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Support cost containment, process optimization, and performance improvement initiatives through analytical insights.
  • Contribute to maintaining engineering documentation, reports, and technical records with high accuracy and compliance standards.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities and recommend practical engineering solutions for operational challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and engineering best practices across assigned activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech / BE Chemical Engineering required).
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within industrial, process, or vessel-related environments.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, analytical techniques, and operational evaluation methods.
  • Experience supporting technical investigations, engineering surveys, and project-based analysis activities.
  • Ability to apply engineering judgment and adapt standard procedures to varying operational requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to technical detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently while contributing to larger engineering initiatives.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety, operational standards, and engineering compliance practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate technical documentation.
