This role sits at the core of commercial insurance account servicing, supporting Account Managers in managing and growing a diverse book of business. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality client service across policy administration, renewals, endorsements, and compliance-related tasks. The position blends technical insurance knowledge with strong client communication and operational precision. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, carriers, and offshore support functions to ensure seamless execution of servicing workflows. As you progress, you will gradually take on greater ownership of accounts and client relationships. This is a structured growth role designed to build future Account Managers within a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of commercial insurance accounts while ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and compliance across all servicing activities:
- Assist Account Managers with policy servicing tasks including renewals, endorsements, certificates, and documentation management.
- Maintain and update agency management systems, ensuring data accuracy and paperless workflow compliance.
- Coordinate with carriers, clients, and internal/offshore teams to gather required information and resolve account issues.
- Support the renewal process by preparing applications, requesting quotes, and organizing client-facing materials.
- Handle certificate requests, surplus lines filings, loss runs, and other administrative insurance processes.
- Monitor policy discrepancies and assist in identifying coverage needs or corrections.
- Contribute to account growth through support of new business opportunities and account rounding initiatives.
This position requires hands-on experience in commercial insurance operations, strong organizational ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment:
- 1–5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance (retail or brokerage environment preferred).
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and carrier processes.
- Proficiency with agency management systems and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation management abilities.
- Strong communication skills for client, carrier, and internal coordination.
- Ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
