This role will be heavily focused on six key elements:
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor engineering teams, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively, including budgeting and securing necessary materials and tools for projects.
- Process Improvement: Strive to enhance efficiency and sustainability in engineering processes and product designs, reducing waste and improving quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and management personnel to align engineering goals with organizational objectives and ensure seamless communication across teams.
- Research and Development: Lead initiatives for developing new products, processes, and technologies, staying updated with industry trends and advancements).
- Bachelorโs degree in Engineering, Masterโs in Engineering Management, or Technology Management.
- At least 2 or more years of relevant experience in engineering, development or related roles.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in engineering principles relevant to the specific industry (e.g., software, mechanical, civil).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Project Management: Experience in managing complex projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey project requirements and updates to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Hands-on experience with battery pack or ESS system quality control.
- Understanding of BMS (Battery Management Systems), PCS (Power Conversion Systems) Experience working with global customers or regulatory compliance for international markets.
- Certifications in ISO, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or equivalent.
