Einsteins Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Irrigation Technician to maintain, install, and troubleshoot irrigation systems across commercial properties. In this role, you will ensure irrigation systems operate efficiently to support healthy landscapes and sustainable water use. The position requires hands-on technical work with irrigation equipment, the ability to read system layouts, troubleshoot issues, and support safe jobsite operations. Key Responsibilities- Irrigation System Installation & Maintenance
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial irrigation systems.
Lay out irrigation systems according to design plans and specifications.
Diagnose system issues and perform repairs to valves, heads, piping, and controllers.
Monitor irrigation system performance to ensure efficient water distribution.
- Equipment Operation
Safely operate irrigation equipment including Ditch Witch pipe pullers, mini excavators, trenchers, compactors, augers, and hand tools.
Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
Maintain equipment cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
- Team Support & Jobsite Coordination
Follow daily work schedules and ensure assigned tasks are completed efficiently.
Assist with irrigation installations and maintenance projects alongside team members.
Communicate with customers regarding job site status and project progress.
Support crew members by reinforcing safe equipment operation and proper procedures.
- Safety & Compliance
Follow all company policies and safety procedures while on job sites.
Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn and safety standards are upheld.
Report injuries, safety concerns, or equipment issues immediately to management.
Participate in scheduled training sessions and safety meetings.
- Administrative & Operational Tasks
Maintain accurate job records, reports, and labor documentation.
Order irrigation parts and supplies and manage returns of unused materials.
Track expenses and maintain receipts when applicable.
Assist in training irrigation crew members on procedures and equipment use.
High school diploma or GED required.
24 years of experience in irrigation, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related field preferred.
Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining irrigation systems.
Ability to read irrigation system layouts and technical documentation.
Familiarity with operating equipment such as Ditch Witch machines, pipe pullers, mini excavators, trenchers, and compaction equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
Valid Drivers License required.
DOT Card preferred.
Backflow Certification preferred.
Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, and work outdoors for extended periods.
Comfortable working around moving equipment, outdoor weather conditions, and varying jobsite environments.
