As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Center Facilities Technician to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.

Data Center Facilities Technician:

The Data Center Facilities Technician will provide the building maintenance services including on-site electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs of non-critical aspects of the Facility’s buildings and grounds, as directed.  By way of example, these maintenance services could include such services as:

Responsibilities:

  • General area cleanup  
  • Touchup painting   
  • Tool inventory  
  • Door repair  
  • Mounting of signage  
  • Minor electrical tasks  
  • Minor plumbing tasks  
  • Basic minor carpentry tasks  
  • Specific or immediate industrial cleaning tasks, as needed  
  • Light-duty mechanical tasks  
  • Monitoring and replacing HVAC filters and light bulbs in designated areas  
  • Hanging of wall art and shelving  
  • Dismantling and installation of furniture and cabinets  
  • Setting up and taking down tables and chairs for special meetings or events  
  • Snow removal during winter season.

  • Landscaping and clean up   
  • Carpet cleaning and/or replacement  
  • Other tasks and special projects as designated  

Qualifications:

  • Full use of sight, hearing and voice are required as well as full motor skills.  This position requires the ability to lift 40 lbs., bend, and stoop, reach overhead and stand for long periods of time.  
  • Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, including: Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handling units and CRAC units.  
  • Good observation skills and problem-solving ability.    

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks
  • Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
  • Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
  • Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
  • Ability to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facility
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
  • Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license for work-related travel, as required

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure

The base salary range for this role is $22.00 per hour . This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave. This posted hourly rate is the final rate of pay for the position, based on job‑related factors consistent with applicable law.
