About the Role

As a County Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of Community Living Support Programs within your assigned county. You will guide onboarding for individuals and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), support staff development, and serve as a key liaison with county partners, case managers, families, and community stakeholders. This role combines operational leadership, people management, and community engagement to ensure exceptional care delivery and program growth. What you'll do:

Lead with Purpose & Culture:

  • Champion Premier’s mission, values, and culture in everyday decisions and interactions.
  • Team Development & DSP Support
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new DSPs.
  • Provide ongoing support and check-ins.
  • Monitor DSP scheduling and utilization to match hours with individuals’ needs.
  • Support corrective actions and coaching when needed.

Individual Onboarding & Support:

  • Review referrals and lead onboarding meetings with new individuals.
  • Ensure all individual documentation (plans, safety protocols, medication records) is current and compliant.
  • Facilitate successful meet-and-greets between individuals and DSPs.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with individuals and families to gather feedback.
  • Records, Compliance & Risk Monitoring
  • Maintain office compliance and accurate records.
  • Conduct monthly audits to monitor compliance, identify risks, and safeguard financial integrity.
  • Review county health reports and partner with leadership to improve quality.

Office & Operational Management:

  • Manage communication across phone, email, and walk-ins with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Oversee office environment, supplies, and administrative needs.

Community Outreach & Growth:

  • Represent Premier at local community events to grow awareness and partnerships.
  • Lead recruitment for office roles (e.g., CMAs, Senior CMAs) and support candidate engagement.

Leadership & Development:

  • Mentor and develop team members through goal setting, performance feedback, and coaching.
  • Participate in on-call rotations with other County Managers.

Other Duties:

  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support organizational success.

Requirements:

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience recruiting, mentoring, and leading care teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and comfort managing compliance and records.

  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to quality care.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Preferred)
  • 4 years in Human Services (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years working with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, 4 years (Preferred)
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish is (Preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license car insurance, and reliable transportation is (Required)
