Marketing Assistant

Job Description: The Marketing Assistant ensures marketing campaigns are executed with high quality and on schedule, aligning with marketing plan objectives. This role requires basic digital marketing knowledge and familiarity with key channels/tools including email marketing, web content posting, social media, webinars, and CRM/HubSpot.
Responsibilities: Assist in developing marketing campaigns, brand/blog collateral, and content marketing (weekly news alerts, monthly webinars, website blogs). Follow processes for consistent brand delivery by using message frameworks, visual assets, key terminology, and accurate data. Summarize marketing metrics and performance scorecards. Collaborate with Marketing Specialist/CMO to support growth through content marketing and demand generation strategies. Utilize the strategic events calendar to increase awareness among new prospects and accelerate existing opportunities. Prepare desktop competitive research reports. Work closely with Marketing Specialist and web agency to optimize website content. Support the centralized marketing calendar with spotlight articles, social media, email campaigns, and industry white papers. Coordinate marketing collateral, merchandise, promotion collateral, and other sales materials development. Assist Marketing Specialist with background research for marketing initiatives (e.g., Teachers Initiative).
Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field. 1-2 years marketing, consulting, and/or agency experience preferred. B2B marketing experience. Market research and analytics experience. Graphic design skills: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator. Experience with content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress. Content marketing experience (social media, blogs, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.). Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills. Project management experience is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Team player capable of collaborating across teams to execute campaigns. Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, organized.
Non-negotiables: High English language proficiency. Working hours: 9am-5pm U.S. Central Time. Experience with HubSpot or other CRM systems.
Working Conditions: Remote work requiring a computer with video conferencing capabilities. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, and calculator required.

$808 - $942 a month
