Program Overview:
At Analysis Group, we provide our clients with thoughtful, pragmatic solutions to their most challenging business and litigation problems. Analysis Group is one of the largest private economics consulting firms, with more than 1,500 professionals across 15 offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. Since 1981, we have provided expertise in economics, finance, health care analytics, and strategy to top law firms, Fortune Global 500 companies, and government agencies worldwide. Our internal experts, together with our network of affiliated experts from academia, industry, and government, offer our clients exceptional breadth and depth of expertise.
The Rise@AG Summer Externship is a unique, one-week, in-person program designed for academically curious undergraduate students expected to graduate in either winter 2027 or spring 2028 as they explore the impactful world of economic consulting. The program is open to all applicants, with a focus on providing opportunities to individuals who have not had prior exposure to economic consulting.
Participants will gain insights into how Analysis Group consultants address critical problems in business and litigation through data analysis, strategic thinking, and research, while also developing strategies for navigating the workplace and effectively managing teams by accounting for differences in work styles, personalities, and cultures.
Externs will strengthen their ability to apply analytical skills, tackle a mock case, shadow an Analyst, receive interview coaching, and network with AG consultants and leaders. They will also have the opportunity to network with our affinity groups - which are open to all employees - such as Black@AG and Latins@AG, providing an additional avenue to learn about AG’s inclusive culture and build lasting professional relationships. We are committed to fostering an inclusive experience where participants feel supported and valued. For any questions, please contact us at extern.recruiting@analysisgroup.com.

At the end of the program, externs who are interested in exploring a Summer Analyst internship position may apply when our intern recruiting season begins in early to mid-August 2026 and may be considered for a first-round interview at that time. Summer Analysts spend 10 weeks with us from June to August, working on complex business problems across various industries and practice areas. During the program, they collaborate closely with case teams, professors, legal counsel and clients, gaining valuable exposure to both the analytical and strategic aspects of economic consulting. At the end of the internship, interns are assessed for full-time Analyst positions within their respective office locations. Full-time Analysts benefit from robust professional development opportunities, including support for those pursuing graduate school.

- Share an experience in which you worked with people who had different perspectives than yours. What did you learn?
- How have you helped open doors or create opportunities for others in academic, professional, or community settings?
