- Manage audit, review, compilation engagements, and multiple teams.
- Partner with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners in risk assessment, audit procedures, and reporting.
- Oversee daily operations of the audit engagement, including staffing, planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Research and communicate guidance on complex accounting matters and transactions.
- Assist clients with GAAP compliance and adoption of FASB Accounting Standard Updates.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues proactively.
- Serve as an instructor in department training programs and meetings.
- Participate in leadership activities related to community, networking, and business development.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- CPA license required.
- 5 years of experience in public accounting preferred.
- Experience with revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, convertible debt and capitalized software is preferred.
- Experience with SAFE (Simple Agreements for Future Equity) preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 10% to client sites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
