About the Role:

The Stamper plays a crucial role in the retail trade industry by ensuring that products, documents, or packaging are accurately and consistently marked with the appropriate stamps or labels. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to maintain quality control and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Stamper is responsible for preparing materials, operating stamping equipment, and verifying that all stamped items meet specified criteria. This role contributes directly to the efficiency of inventory management, product identification, and customer satisfaction by ensuring that all items are properly marked before distribution or sale. Ultimately, the Stamper supports the seamless flow of goods through the retail supply chain by maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability in stamping processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic experience with manual or automated stamping equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain focus on repetitive tasks.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or manufacturing environment involving product labeling or packaging.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
• Basic computer skills for recording production data.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Operate stamping machines and tools to apply stamps or labels to products, packaging, or documents according to established guidelines.
• Inspect items before and after stamping to ensure accuracy, legibility, and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain and clean stamping equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and prevent malfunctions.
• Record and report production data, including quantities stamped and any discrepancies or defects encountered during the process.
• Collaborate with inventory and quality control teams to address any issues related to stamping and labeling.
