Essential Functions:

The maintenance technician is responsible for maintaining manufacturer equipment, working both individually and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of stamping presses and CNC machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to determine necessary repairs.
• Conducted repairs and modifications to machinery to maintain production efficiency.
• Install, adjust, and repair various automation and control systems associated with manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records, including preventive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the workplace.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and maintain knowledge of industry best practices.
• Communicate with outside contractors.

Skills and Abilities:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably with metal stamping or CNC machinery.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and repair of industrial machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed.

Work Environment:

This position works in a manufacturing work environment. The employee must be cognizant of hazards, including but not limited to a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, and exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
