About the Role:

Crowdstrike is looking for an engineering leader with a solid track record of building and operating hyper-scale data centers to join our Network Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for deployment and lifecycle of our data center network infrastructure. You will drive planning and execution of network deployment to data centers. You will lead a team of engineers to keep our data center network running optimally.

This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at one of the posted locations

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage end-to-end deployments and lifecycle of our data center network infrastructure

  • Lead geographically distributed team of engineers in planning, deploying, and maintaining our data center network infrastructure

  • Drive strategy to scale network deployment and operation while maintaining consistency and stability of our data center network

  • Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and to improve our data center network deployment velocity

  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations

What You'll Need:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

  • 7+ years of experience in operating multi-vendor hyper-scale data center networks

  • Proven track record in leading initiatives independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience in managing geographically distributed teams of engineers

  • Experience operating in FedRAMP or other regulated environments

  • Expert in large scale IP networking technologies and protocols such as MP-BGP, OSPF, VRF, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, IPSEC, MACsec

  • Experience in deploying and managing large networks using scripts (bash, python, go) or automation frameworks (Ansible, Chef, Terraform)

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in deploying and supporting connectivity on public cloud, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

  • Familiarity with security control frameworks such as the CIS Critical Security Controls, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
