Job Description:

Responsible for implementing and supporting wide area networks (WAN), and for providing third level support for local area networks (LAN) for Community Healthcare System and Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana, Inc.. The Network Engineer I also works with the Desktop Support Team to resolve site specific network issues of implementation, operation, and performance, affecting a variety of computing devices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required.

• 2-3 years of WAN/LAN support experience with Cisco routers, Cisco switches, HP switches, and Cisco ASA firewalls.
• Cisco Wireless LAN controller and access point experience preferred.
• Experience managing client-based and site-to-site VPN's required.
• Demonstrated experience in segmentation of networks using various methodologies required.Experience and understanding of routed protocols with emphasis on TCP/IP required.
• Experience with remote/branch office connectivity preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with interior and exteriorrouting protocols.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proven ability to interact with non-technical users at all levels within an organization.
• Experience using ticket remedy system, PeopleSoft CRM help desk ticket system a plus.
• CCNA certification required.
• IT healthcare experience preferred.
