HVAC Project Manager at freije Engineered Solutions Company – Indianapolis, Indiana

At frēijē, we’re looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager who thrives on ownership, problem-solving, and building strong relationships with customers, vendors, and field teams.

• Own full financial accountability for HVAC construction projects

• Lead project setup (job creation, submittals, planning, etc.)

• Procure and manage equipment, materials, and vendor relationships

• Develop and manage project schedules from estimate to completion

• Track budgets, costs, and job site records to ensure profitability

• Produce, negotiate, and manage change orders

• Oversee project close-out (O&M manuals, warranty docs, as-builts)

• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and legal contracts

• Provide hands-on leadership across the project lifecycle

• Stay current on industry training, technology, and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related)

• 5–10 years of relevant HVAC project management experience

• PMP, professional license, or credentials preferred

• Strong background in AutoCAD, Vista, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and people with integrity
