Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Salesperson & Team Lead to join our growing landscape and snow management business in Edmonton. In this dual role, you will be responsible for driving sales efforts, managing client relationships, and leading a small team to ensure the success of both the sales and service delivery processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend your sales expertise with leadership responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales

  • New Business Development: Prospect, generate, and close sales opportunities within the Edmonton area, targeting commercial and industrial clients.

  • Client Consultations: Meet with clients to assess their needs and provide personalized landscape and snow management solutions.

  • Sales Presentations & Proposals: Develop customized proposals, present service offerings, and negotiate contracts to close sales.

  • Service Promotion: Effectively communicate the benefits of our landscape and snow management services, promoting seasonal services such as lawn care, snow removal, landscaping design, and more.

  • Account Management: Maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring repeat business and referrals.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, local competitors, and market demand to help optimize sales strategies.

Leadership

  • Team Leadership: Lead a small, motivated team and support staff. Provide guidance to help them succeed and meet their goals.
  • Performance Management: Track performance, and implement strategies to ensure the team achieves its objectives.
  • Collaboration & Support: Coordinate with the operations and field teams to ensure the smooth execution of services and high client satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Strategy: Report on team performance, sales activities, and market trends to senior management. Collaborate on refining sales strategies to optimize results.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the landscape, snow management, or service-based industries.

  • Team management experience is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of landscape and snow removal services.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and team members.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools

  • Background in landscaping, snow management, or related services.

  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales and service targets.
