About Us: Rehabilitation Associates is a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation services, partnering with a nationally recognized rehabilitation hospital in Portland. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.

Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our established inpatient consultant hospitalist team. This role operates within a highly collaborative co-management model alongside our physiatry team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultative Role: Act as a consultant with a dedicated focus on managing acute, complex medical issues and chronic conditions for hospitalized patients.
  • Collaborative Care: Partner closely with the attending physiatry team, which addresses complex rehabilitation needs, pain management, discharge planning challenges, and patient progress in physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
  • Patient Focus: With the attending physiatry team overseeing care coordination, therapy collaboration, family communication, and discharge planning, your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality medical care.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Work Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off rotation.
  • Call Coverage: One weekend per month, which can be managed remotely from home.
  • Compensation: Highly competitive salary, with team members earning approximately $300,000+ per year, including productivity bonuses.
