Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Echocardiographer to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals.

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:30p
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
  • Starting Rate: $30.72 + per hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Shift Differentials: $2.50 - $5.00 per hour (based on day and shift)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic echocardiograms, including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and capture high-quality images for interpretation by cardiologists.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients and provide compassionate care throughout the exam.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with documentation for medical reports.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained according to safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to provide timely and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • Registered or registry eligible with ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS).
  • Current BLS certification
  • Previous echocardiography experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
