Dieffenbach's Snacks, a family-owned and mission-driven snack food manufacturing company. As a key member of the leadership team, the Production Supervisor will lead and oversee all aspects of the production process for their shift. This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance the technical aspects of food manufacturing with engaging and making a positive impact on people!
In this role, you’ll lead a dedicated production team, ensuring smooth operations while driving quality, efficiency, and safety. You won’t just manage processes—you’ll inspire people to achieve their best, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Schedule: 6:30PM to 7:15AM two possible shift options (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) or (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) (Actual schedule will be determined based on potential internal movement.)
What You’ll Do:- Lead with Purpose: Inspire, coach, and guide your team to meet and exceed production goals while upholding food safety and quality standards.
- Empower Performance: Provide clear expectations, training, and feedback to help team members grow and succeed.
- Deliver Results: Manage production schedules, allocate resources effectively, and remove roadblocks to keep things running efficiently.
- Ensure Quality: Oversee production from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring every product meets company and customer standards.
- Foster Accountability: Monitor team performance, address challenges proactively, and celebrate successes along the way.
- Champion Safety: Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring adherence to GMPs and company policies.
- Leadership Mindset: Proven experience leading production teams in a food manufacturing or similar environment.
- People First: Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills to build trust and accountability.
- Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot issues, make quick decisions, and keep production on track.
- Detail-Oriented: Comfortable with production schedules, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Physically Capable: Able to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and work in varying temperatures for 12-hour shifts.

- Production Oversight: Ability to manage production schedules, oversee raw material flow to finished goods, and ensure efficient labor management.
- Food Safety & Quality Control: Thorough understanding of GMPs, food safety protocols, and company policies to maintain high standards.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation, logging, and tracking production metrics.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable working in a high-paced, wet, oily, and noisy environment; able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams, provide feedback, and collaborate across shifts.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English strongly preferred)
- Problem-Solving: Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking while maintaining productivity and employee accountability.
- Basic Skills: Proficiency in math, computer use (spreadsheets and formulas), and safe handling of power tools.
