About This Position

Job Overview:

The Speech Therapy department is seeking a per diem Inpatient Speech Pathologist to join the team.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's degree in speech language pathology
  • Minimum of one year of experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • New Jersey state licensure in speech/language pathology
  • New Jersey speech specialist certification or eligibility
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech/language pathology

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day shift
  • Per Diem
  • Must be available for weekend coverage

Essential Functions:

  • Inservice on subjects related to speech, language or dysphagia
  • Assist in updating diagnostic and/or therapeutic materials and supplies
  • Provides counseling to patients and/or their families with regard to the diagnostic finding, the therapeutic program or further referral
  • Administer qualitative diagnostic, habilitative and rehabilitative services related to communication disorders for inpatients and outpatients of all ages
