Construction Foreman- Commercial HVACR at JH REFRIGERATION LLC – Covington, Louisiana

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Foreman with a strong background in HVAC systems and sheet metal installation. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for managing job site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to spec. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has the ability to lead crews effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of HVAC and sheet metal crews on commercial job sites.
• Actively work alongside the crew on HVAC and sheet metal installation tasks as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings.
• Oversee and assist with the installation of ductwork, equipment, and associated components.
• Ensure all work meets code requirements and company quality standards.
• Communicate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors.
• Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and productivity.
• Order materials and manage site inventory.
• Mentor and train crew members as needed.
• Complete daily reports and job documentation.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and sheet metal installation.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or foreman experience on commercial construction sites.
• Proven ability to lead by example and manage field crews effectively.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings and mechanical plans.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various job site conditions.
