Pool Server at The Elms Hotel & Spa – Excelsior Springs, Missouri

We are seeking an energetic and service-focused Seasonal Pool Server to join our team for the summer season. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. The Pool Server will provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests at the pool area, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

• Greet guests promptly and professionally in the pool area

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the bar/kitchen

• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation and quality standards

• Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the poolside area, including cabanas and tables

• Monitor guest intoxication levels and follow responsible service of alcohol policies

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures

• Work collaboratively with team members and support other areas as needed

• Uphold brand standards and create a welcoming atmosphere

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift trays and carry items up to 25 lbs

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays during the season

• Minimum age of 21 depending on local alcohol service laws

• Current food handler’s permit and alcohol server certification (if required by state/county)
