Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Sonographer to join their healthcare team in Burlington, VT. This is a night-shift role involving diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including independent examinations, under the guidance of supervising physicians and in collaboration with peers.

The Sonographer will also play an integral role in mentoring and educating staff, contributing to the growth and development of the team.

Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $75,000 to $120,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasounds and other required modalities.
  • Conduct examinations independently under physician supervision and collaborate with peers when appropriate.
  • Mentor and educate all levels of staff.
  • Maintain applicable credentials specific to the role within the department.
  • Senior Sonographer roles fulfill additional experience and time requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Advanced Certification - ARDMS OB/GYN Certified.
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or a two-year allied health equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is a plus.
  • Strong team-player attitude.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically while performing scan
