We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to serve as the primary HR business partner for our Middletown, CT location. The HR Manager will be responsible for all people-related strategies and day-to-day HR operations. This role works closely with site and functional leadership to support employee engagement, performance, compliance and workforce stability. This is a highly visible role suited for an HR leader who is comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on.
So, what will you be doing as HR Manager?
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to site leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and change management.
- Partner with leaders to build a high-performing, accountable, and inclusive culture aligned with AeroFlow values.
- Support organizational changes, workforce planning, and succession initiatives.
- Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance management, and grievance resolution.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance, conduct, and employee issues.
- Lead recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt roles, ensuring timely hiring of qualified talent.
- Partner with leaders on onboarding, training, and development initiatives to support engagement and retention.
- Support performance management and leadership development processes.
- Process weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now (WFN), ensuring accuracy and timely submission of local pay data.
- Maintain and update employee records in ADP WFN to ensure data integrity across HR and payroll systems.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs locally in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Manage time and attendance tracking and ensure accurate integration with payroll and HR systems.
- Collaborate with corporate HR on benefits administration, compensation planning, and annual HR cycles.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, and/or related field required.
- Demonstrated progression in an HR generalist or HR leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven ability to influence leaders and drive change in a fast-paced, operational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Proficiency in HRIS, data analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
