The mission of the Customer Happiness Intern at Cozey

As a Customer Happiness Intern on the Performance & Innovation team, you’ll help turn real customer support activity into better systems, smarter training, and smoother daily operations. You’ll work closely with Customer Happiness Ambassadors, Leads, the Coordinator, and Performance & Innovation partners to spot patterns, test improvements, and share clear recommendations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys data + process + people, and can switch between analysis, light operational support, and practical enablement. Past interns have contributed to benchmarking, presented findings to senior leaders, and supported tooling improvements that made the team faster and more consistent.

What you'll be doing

  • Help analyze Customer Happiness and performance metrics (CSAT, quality, productivity, repeat contact, contact reasons) to spot trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support recurring reporting and contribute to simple “what changed?” summaries used in weekly check-ins.
  • Learn how to turn complex or unstructured information into clear, actionable insights—what’s happening, why it matters, and what could be tried next.
  • Assist with quality assurance and testing for automations and Generative AI workflows by running test cases, tracking results, and documenting issues.
  • Support pre- and post-release checks, working with internal partners to help validate updates and flag potential risks.
  • Provide support for day-to-day operational needs as required, including documentation updates, basic coverage support, and coordination during busy periods.
  • Take part in project-based initiatives such as mapping service flows, analyzing repeat contact drivers, and contributing to onboarding or process improvements.

What we're looking for

  • Comfortable learning new tools and systems (support platforms, dashboards, documentation tools), with a curiosity for technology and generative AI.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work with data that isn’t always perfectly structured.
  • Able to turn numbers and patterns into clear insights or practical recommendations.
  • Brings a thoughtful, consistent approach to quality assurance, testing, and documentation.
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates well with teammates across different roles.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to improve customer experience and internal processes.
