About the Role
We're seeking a driven Recruiter to join our Human Resources team and lead full-cycle recruiting efforts in our Florida region. In this role, you will source, screen, and recommend candidates for placement using creative strategies to build proactive pipelines. You'll develop and execute recruitment plans, coordinate candidate scheduling and processing, nurture passive talent, and ensure compliance with EEO and employment practices.
Preferred Experience: Proven success hiring for retail, cashiering, convenience store, grocery, or fast-food positions—including high-volume hourly roles.
What You'll Do
- Prepare job announcements and screen applications for hourly and salaried positions.
- Lead recruiting efforts to fill current and anticipated openings across the business.
- Develop recruitment strategies to build proactive candidate pipelines.
- Post jobs and drive passive recruitment using social media, networking partnerships, and targeted search techniques.
- Share information about our facilities and career opportunities with candidates and external partners.
- Match applicants to appropriate openings; conduct reference checks; coordinate background checks; and process employment status changes.
- Correspond with applicants to communicate status and employment consideration.
- Coordinate external recruitment efforts (expos, job fairs, community events).
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
- 1–3 years of agency recruitment experience is a plus
- Experience in high-volume recruiting (30+ open requisitions).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); Strong ATS experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with Hiring Managers and external partners.
- Experience onboarding candidates and conducting pre-employment verifications.
- Knowledge of current personnel practices and labor/employment law, including EEO.
- Enjoys candidate research and passive outreach; thrives in a fast-paced, high-activity environment.
- Experience leveraging social media for recruitment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-monitor, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible or extended hours as required for Recruitment functions throughout the state of FL

Compensation for this role is from $70,000 to $75,000 depending on experience
