About This Position
Billing Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY
-
The Billing Supervisor plans, organizes and directs daily operations of the billing office. This position supervises a team in daily departmental activities and is focused on ensuring goals are achieved and standard operating procedures followed. Reports to designated manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Delegates, supervises personnel, operationalizes, solves problems, makes decisions and develops systems and processes for successful integration and implementation.
-
Accountable and responsible for accurate, timely and compliant billing practices.
-
Monitors and prepares accurate reports of billing operations and practices.
-
Independently carries out and is accountable for daily operations and other negotiated/assigned activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Required Education and Experience
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing required.

Preferred Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-
Technical and professional knowledge and skills unique to the business for designated services.

Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to plan, supervise establish and maintain a professional work environment.

Ability to identify & analyze problems and implement solutions for operational and organizational functions.

Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills as well as, the ability to interact with and build collegial relationships with diverse individuals.

High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

Excellent time management skills, able to shift priorities and able to work in a fast paced, fluid environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
