The Position:

We're looking for an experienced Director of Marketing & Business Development. The Director of Marketing & Business Development is the contact between referral sources, Ohana Pacific Health (OPH) communities, and the OPH admission department by conducting referral reviews, clearances, and admission processing for OPH communities. Performs job duties in accordance with Ohana Pacific Health (OPH) Core Values and behaviors. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinates and assists with admissions to ensure as high a resident census as possible
  • Interprets OPH policies and governmental regulations, related to admission and on-going stay, to residents and responsible parties
  • Coordinate, review and assess resident referral documents to determine if clinically and financially cleared for admission or identify issues needing to be addressed and communicate with appropriate person for resolution.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree
  • Experience in coordinating admission in a health care facility.
  • Current State of Hawaii Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license in good standing, preferred.
  • Experience in a clinical setting or case management preferred. 
  • A track record of successful experience in a health care setting, strong interpersonal skills, and experience working with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social workers.
