Lot Coordinator

McGrew Equipment Company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Lot Coordinator to support daily auction yard operations. This role is responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient lot while assisting with the movement, preparation, and basic upkeep of auction equipment. The Lot Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring equipment is properly staged, presentable, and ready for auction.

We host bi-weekly online and on-site auctions at our headquarters in Seven Valleys, PA, connecting buyers and sellers from across the country. Role Description
The Lot Coordinator supports McGrew Equipment's auction operations by maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient yard environment. This role is responsible for coordinating the movement, staging, loading, and unloading of auction equipment for transport to and from the auction yard. The Lot Coordinator works closely with auction, yard, and operations teams to ensure equipment is properly positioned and ready to support auction activity and consignor logistics.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain a neat, organized, and efficient auction yard to support daily and weekly auction operations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading auction equipment.
  • Organize, detail, and prepare heavy equipment, construction equipment, and machinery for auction.
  • Operate a standard forklift, material-handling carts, and related tools safely.
  • Operate pressure washers in all weather conditions.
  • Perform visual inspections of auction equipment and report issues as needed.
  • Clean yard areas, runoff pits, and remove trash regularly.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Assist with general facility and property maintenance, including sweeping and cleanup.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational & Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle equipment and materials.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) to three (3) years of related experience preferred.
  • DOT Medical Card preferred.
Essential Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, drive, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
Note: This position is considered safety sensitive and involves regular outdoor work and may require standing for long periods, bending, and operating equipment.
