We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor with a strong background in aerospace sheet metal manufacturing to join our team. This key role will be instrumental in supporting operations and ensuring maximum production performance. Responsibilities & Expectations

As the Operations Supervisor over Sheet Metal & Fabrication, you'll be instrumental in ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role is a vital blend of strategic planning and hands-on leadership, with direct accountability for the following:


  • Oversee the daily manufacturing operations to meet cost, quality, and productivity objectives.
  • Communicate key issues and updates clearly and promptly to all levels of staff.
  • Generate improved plant performance and workflow optimization and efficiencies through standard work, factory visuals, and accountability
  • Exercise sound, independent judgment in high-pressure situations while keeping senior leadership informed.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of 25–30 hourly employees.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Production Control to create and maintain real-time operations tracking tools.
  • Motivate, mentor and coach your team to achieve overall performance goals for Operations, cost, quality, and safety
  • Delegate operations assignments to the appropriate groups and personnel
  • Ensure assembly processes support the operator for ergonomics, efficiency, and quality
  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures
  • Identify, participate, and/or implement continuous improvement activities
  • Proactively investigate and resolve operations problems
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Must be US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Card
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in aerospace sheet metal fabrication, welding, forming, machining, assembly, and processing.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and production aligned with the company's vision.
  • High-energy individual with a robust manufacturing background and proven hands-on experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strategic vision in managing staff, projects, and operational initiatives.
  • Proven commitment to professional ethics and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Accountability and consistent track record of successful operational execution.
  • The ability to follow directions while being a self-starter
  • Ability to follow directions while demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
  • Thorough understanding of and adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing, and typing.
  • Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, bending, and repetitive motion.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, and other safety gear as necessary.
