About This Position

Description:

Automotive Technician Class B

Automotive Class B tech-must be able to perform basic oil and tire installations, in addition to diagnostics and repairs for engine, HVAC, brakes, suspension. You'll ensure compliance standards are met while maintaining clear communication with both customers and internal teams. This position requires willingness to work in all weather conditions (not a climate-controlled environment), strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills, and reliable attendance.

Position is 8am-5pm M-F with some weekends as needed.

Requirements:

Automotive Class B tech-must be able to perform basic oil and tire installations, in addition to diagnostics and repairs for engine, HVAC, brakes, suspension.

Must be available on weekends as needed.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and potential problems.
  • Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to analyze vehicle malfunctions and determine appropriate repair methods.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and time required for completion.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
  • Test and verify repaired vehicles to ensure proper functioning and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, technical manuals, and service bulletins.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
