About This Position
Akira Technologies is seeking a Content Site Manager to support intelligence production and knowledge management activities by administering, organizing, and optimizing content across enterprise collaboration platforms and analytic repositories. This role aligns processes, technologies, and workflows to enable effective information sharing across analysts and organizations within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).
The ideal candidate demonstrates deep knowledge of analytic tradecraft standards, content lifecycle management, and enterprise collaboration tools—particularly Microsoft SharePoint—while ensuring analytic products meet rigor, accessibility, and dissemination requirements across multiple networks and portals.
This is an onsite role supporting a government client in Fort Belvoir, VA. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise content repositories supporting intelligence production and analytic collaboration.
- Align processes and technologies to enable efficient information sharing across analysts and organizations for analytic production.
- Shape workflows supporting search, discovery, storage, retrieval, production tracking, and tasking management.
- Disseminate intelligence products across multiple networks and secure portals.
- Support records management and compliance with IC and DoD content governance standards.
- Review analytic products to ensure cogent arguments, adherence to tradecraft standards, and adequate evidentiary support for conclusions.
- Routinely test analytic rigor and identify opportunities to improve analytic production processes.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulate key findings.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies to support mission requirements.
- Define comprehensive and innovative research approaches supporting high-level analytic tasks.
- Monitor developments in academic and professional analytic methodologies that impact analytic tradecraft practices.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft SharePoint environments supporting analytic workflows and collaboration.
- Integrate centralized and peripheral databases and content management systems supporting enterprise knowledge sharing.
- Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and identify future requirements for knowledge management capabilities including search, discovery, storage, retrieval, production, and tasking systems.
- Operate independently with minimal oversight while managing competing priorities across stakeholders.
- Provide subject matter expertise supporting leadership decision-making related to analytic production support and knowledge management improvements.
Job Qualifications
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution (or equivalent Associate's degree with 7 years of intelligence discipline experience or High School diploma with 9 years of intelligence discipline experience)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an intelligence discipline within the DoD or Intelligence Community, including experience within the last 2 years
- Advanced experience using Microsoft SharePoint
- Demonstrated experience supporting analytic production workflows and knowledge management environments
- Experience disseminating intelligence products across secure enterprise networks and portals
- Strong understanding of intelligence analytic tradecraft standards
Desired Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience supporting intelligence or knowledge management functions
- Experience applying qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative research approaches supporting mission analysis
- Experience analyzing cross-organizational analytic operations and knowledge-sharing challenges within the Intelligence Community
- Strong experience evaluating analytic rigor and supporting analytic product quality assurance
Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000
Akira’s pay range for this position considers various factors including skills, years of experience, training, licenses, certifications, alignment with market data, and internal equity in the organization. This pay range estimate is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary, which Akira believes to be done in good faith in compliance with local laws. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
